The Boulders unveils Promise Rock

Hidden within an alcove of giant boulders surrounded by a waterfall splashing cool water sounds into a granite pool, desert landscaping as the backdrop, and rock art showing a couple holding hands, lies a new discovery: Promise Rock at The Boulders Resort.

You enter the grass-covered oasis through a gate constructed of latillas from the ocotillo cactus. During the spring rosebush vines will add color. The rock art to your left–the couple holding hands–appears to be a petroglyph but, in fact, is literally iron art affixed to the boulder. Ahead is the waterfall, and to your right is a sculpted cactus garden that climbs up a desert hillside.

Unveiled for weddings, the site could be used by event planners and hotel guests for a variety of other events and receptions that call for a quiet and secluded location in a beautiful setting. Hotel staff can set up high-top tables with white tablecloths, rows of white folding chairs, or seated tables and chairs and cater and decorate the event as needed.

To book the site or to request a tour, visit the resort at http://www.TheBoulders.com or call the resort: 480-488-9009.
